Child Support

Every parent has a duty to support his or her child.  It is important that you retain an attorney who can represent you in your support proceedings.  Many factors can affect your Child Support Order, and it is crucial that you are prepared for the Support Conference so that the Child Support Order that is entered is fair.

If you or the other parent refuses to pay child support, as ordered by the Court, the Order will be enforced, and there are serious consequences for a refusal to pay as ordered.  This is one of many reasons it is so important that you retain an attorney to represent you at any Child Support hearing you are ordered to attend.
