Stacy Forchetti

Stacy Forchetti

Ms. Forchetti joins the Jennifer J. Riley firm to continue her career of advocating for and advising others in and out of the courtroom.  For her undergraduate work, Ms. Forchetti studied English and Political Science at Pennsylvania State University in State College.  She then obtained her Juris Doctorate at Temple University Beasley School of Law, and completed the Trial Advocacy program, in which she worked as a Teaching Assistant in her final year.

In law school, Ms. Forchetti served in leadership of the Student Bar Association, volunteered with the Student Public Interest Network and was a member of the Temple Law Political & Civil Rights Law Review.  She received the Lena C. Hale Award for Outstanding Extracurricular Contributions.  Following a clerkship with the Honorable Emanuel A. Bertin in Montgomery County, Ms. Forchetti spent twelve years as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia.  As a prosecutor she tried dozens of felony cases before juries to verdict and handled hundreds of others before judges.  Her time in the private sector allowed her to expand her base of knowledge in the worlds of civil law and insurance. Ms. Forchetti earned her certification as a mediator, and has helped couples amicably divorce through mediation.

She serves in the community for several organizations.  Ms. Forchetti has coached Central High School’s Mock Trial Team since 2015.  She has worked on the Board of Junior League of Philadelphia as Parliamentarian, chaired the Social Committee, and currently chairs the Education and Volunteer Training Committee for the organization.  Ms. Forchetti also contributes her time and talents to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  She is an active member of the Vidocq Society, an organization consisting of current and former law enforcement, scientists, and medical professionals, to solve cold case homicides around the country.

In her off hours, Stacy enjoys reading, exercise, and embarrassing her teenagers.
