About Amanda Atkinson
Attorney Atkinson prioritizes compassionate advocacy in practicing and representation. As a child of divorce with parents who have a strong and friendly co-parenting relationship, Attorney Atkinson knows divorce doesn’t break a family, it just changes one. Understanding that family matters are often the most personal of a client’s life, Attorney Atkinson advises clients with honest and transparent representation to ensure they can make informed decisions and pursue the best outcomes possible for their situation.
Prior to joining the Law Offices of Jennifer J. Riley, Attorney Atkinson worked as a Staff Attorney and Legal Advocate for Centre Safe, a domestic violence resource center. In her role, Amanda assisted domestic violence survivors with family law matters such as divorce, custody and protection orders. Amanda additionally interned in other domestic violence, criminal defense and civil rights positions during law school.
Amanda is from Phoenix, Arizona. Prior to law school, Amanda worked in sales departments for Yelp and Realtor.com. Amanda has over sixteen years of work experience, having gotten her first job at age fourteen working at an ice rink.
