Rosana I. Chiple

Rosana Chiple brings over 30 years of experience to the Law Offices of Jennifer Riley.  She excels at guiding her clients through complicated and emotionally trying legal matters. Her areas of Practice include Family Law, Divorce, Custody, Equitable Distribution, Mediation, Adoption, Juvenile Dependency as well as Estate Planning and Estate Probate.  She is also one of the few fluent Spanish-speaking attorneys in Chester County.

Rosana grew up in West Chester and received her bachelor's degree from Immaculata University where she was a member of the Spanish National Honor Society and Phi Alpha Theta History International Honor Society, she received her law degree at Widener University School of Law (Delaware Law School). Rosana is active in the Chester County Bar Association (CCBA) having chaired the Naturalization Committee since 2001; she is the recipient of the Bar Association's 2011 Board of Directors Award and the 2020 President’s Award. Rosana serves on CCBA Board of Directors. As an adjunct professor at the West Chester University of Pennsylvania, she teaches courses in areas of Criminal Justice including Immigration and Ethnicity/Racism.

Rosana focuses her practice on Family law, Mediation, Family-Based Immigration, and Wills and Estates. As a parent/child advocate in Chester County Juvenile and Orphan’s Court, she has handled complex child welfare cases and adoption matters for 30 years.

Rosana’s passion became Family Law Mediation. As a certified Mediator, she handles private mediations in divorce, child custody, equitable distribution, and court-appointed custody mediations.  Not only did Rosana co-found the CCBA’s Family/Custody Mediation Section but she also co-chairs the section. She believes parties not only save money participating in mediation but feel more empowered, save time, aggravation and heartache.

Rosana is also an active member of the community volunteering at her Sts. Philip and James Parish as well as a member of the Chester County Animal Response Team and the Tri-State Bird Rescue.
